Anne Packard is a third generation Provincetown painter, she is a bona fide Cape Cod artist. Born and raised in Hyde Park, NJ, Anne spent summers as a child in
Provincetown. She moved here year round in 1977 after raising her 5
children. A self-taught artist, initially her art was worked on wood panels
and weathered shingles. She studied with the late Phil Malcoat. Anne has
painted the Outer Cape, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Mexico for over 30 years.
Joanna Wezyk is an accomplished painter, writer and illustrator. She infuses all of her work with an unbridled sense of joie de vivre. Her canvases with their vivid, emotional use of color speak of affirmation of life, often taken with a grain of salt.
Kamil Kubik , an impressionist painter, born in Czechoslovakia, studied and worked in Prague, London, Sydney, San Francisco and New York. He is best known for his city scapes and magnificent florals. Now, he spends most of his time in New York area, Washington, D.C. and Paris, painting directly from nature. Kubik has been the official artist for several US golf and tennis open tournaments.
Famed artist Helen Frank´s whimsical etchings cover an entire wall of Juxtapose and are on permanent display. Her work is so prolific that an etching on almost any subject can be found at Juxtapose Gallery.
Trish Hurley´s oil paintings are personal in size inviting the viewer to the intimacy of the moment and space. Her plein-air, atmospheric landscapes are inspired by her love for the outdoors and the ever-changing weather of New England. In each painting, she strives to awaken all of the senses by capturing the dramatics of light and space.
Elizabeth St. Hilaire Nelson "My technique has evolved and changed as a result of experimentation with hand-painted, hand-made, and found papers, maps, magazines, Scrabble and memorabilia. I draw inspiration from potential collage matierals that I come across in my day-to-day; chopstick wrappers, tea-bag tags and the homework included!"
Danielle Desplan uses painting as a medium to translate impressions, emotions and memories into a visual format. The techniques involved are based on super-imposition of several layers of painting, almost a collage of images.
Robin Maria Pedrero "I respond to what catches my eyes and heart using colors, shapes and I desire to capture simple pleasures, wind in the trees, atmospheric reflections, people and places around the world."
